    Welcome to PTAM!

Pray-Think-Act Ministries (PTAM) is a discipleship ministry that challenges believers to maintain their devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ through the indispensable altar of private prayer (Mt.6:6). Indispensable, because all facets of the Christian life, including the altar of corporate worship, borrow their flames from the altar of one's heart. Therefore, the fire of the altar of private prayer... the secret closet of prayer... must never be allowed to die out.

"The fire must be kept burning on the
altar continuously; it must never go out."
Leviticus 6:13

God loves to see the hearts of His people glowing towards Himself with holiness. Accordingly, it is imperative that we give ourselves continually to prayer and the Word (Acts 6:4), are yielded to His governance (Ga. 2:20) and zealous for the redemption of depraved humanity (Mt. 28:19, 20).

Sadly, the vast majority of Christians are not living at this level. Their hearts have become lethargic and self-absorbed, thus living below the norm of the New Testament pattern. Hence, there must be a rekindling of those fires that have burned so low that the chief remedy is the revival of the hearts of God's people.

By revival we mean, the spiritual quickening of redeemed believers that brings Divine Energy into a body that is threatening to become a spiritual corpse. Revival is exclusively the work of the Holy Spirit in concert with prayer and the Word of God. And the sacred fuel that ignites revival, and keeps our hearts aflame with passion for Christ Jesus, is that fervent prayer of the secret prayer chamber in cooperation with the Spirit of Christ.

Consequently, prayer is the ministry of all other ministries and without it we limit God's chosen method of work. For prayer is the means that God has ordained to accomplish His will on earth, not the means by which man gets his will done in heaven. And the neglect of prayer, particularly the secret closet of prayer, is the beginning of all spiritual decline. When prayer is meager, invariably it can be traced to the fact that it is supplemental rather than foundational.

This ministry is committed to the revival of God's people, both personally and corporately.
